I guess I should say something then. *glares at all of the posts sayin the “offical” format for writing about myself should be in third person.*
My pen name is Elena Northern.
I’m a young author who is also definitely a bookworm. I write fantasy and sci-fi most of the time. My main goals in writing are to first: Glorify God, second: Illuminate the Truth. Words are weapons, hence the name of this blog. They can harm or heal, tear down or build up, sometimes they need to do either.
Classics are the best. George MacDonald, G.K. Chesterton, Lousia May Alcott, C.S. Lewis, Charles Dickens, and J.R.R. Tolkien are some of my many favorite authors.
When I’m not reading or writing, then I’m usually working on one of my numerous projects. Whether this is co-hosting a writing podcast, directing an audio drama, sewing a skirt, learning how to spin, playing with my dog, or dreaming about the future, I have a lot that I’m up to.
Random facts:
- I’m a Christian.
- I live in Canada.
- I’m the oldest of 4 kids.
- I’ve been homeschooled all my life.
- I like long skirts.
- Blue, Green and Brown are all really nice colours.
- I’m an OYANer 😛
